This was an unexpected and super fun project, as it was a surprise gift for the groom from his groomsmen. Having experience with sandblast and laser engraving, I designed custom engraved wooden hand grips for a Dan Wesson 1911 pistol. The delicate filigree and St. Michael illustration on the warm, refined wood texture complements the rugged and robust composition of the pistol itself, emulating a modern vintage vibe for the gentleman himself.
